What We're Studying this Fall/Spring

Fixing Our Eyes on Jesus

the gospel according to Matthew

Teaching by Lana Wisenbaker

In the gospel of Matthew are these wonderful words:

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest….”

Such an appealing invitation, and He has given it to you! What a crazy time we have all been through -- so much loss, so much isolation, so much uncertainty!  What a perfect time to concentrate on Jesus!  Women in the Word will do just that, spending the next several months focusing on the life of the Savior in the book of Matthew.

Our purpose is not so much gathering facts about Him as it is to have a personal time with Him. * Beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 15,  we will join together to encourage each other in the adventure of knowing Christ more intimately. Whether you’ve read Matthew countless times -- or never really looked at it -- you can be sure He has something just for you.

Lana Wisenbaker will be taking us through the gospel of Matthew on Wednesday mornings at the Farmers Branch campus. Her message will be posted on our WITW Resources page each week for those wanting to participate remotely in WITW.
WE'RE BACK IN-PERSON!
Wednesdays 9:30-11:30 am
Farmers Branch campus
Family Life Center

Children's Bible Study (CBS) WILL BE available!
Registration is required.
WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE IT IN PERSON?
We want you to register too!
We understand not everyone is ready or able to meet in person. Don't let that stop you from participating in WITW! Although we will not be providing online discussion groups, we encourage you to do the lesson with a friend over coffee, start a zoom group with some friends, or just enjoy studying on your own. The weekly videos and notes will all be made available for you on our WITW RESOURCES page. You can even use the Branch app to register, access resources, and read more information about Branch Women.

Let's be friends!

Wanna talk about the study with someone? Join our Women in the Word Facebook Group to connect with other women to discuss each week's lesson.

How does WITW work?

Step One

REGISTER &/OR CHOOSE A DISCUSSION GROUP
We're better together! If you are registering for in-person WITW, you will choose your discussion group and/or register your child for Children's Bible Study (CBS). Register for Women in the Word and Children’s Bible Study in one place!!
I'm not attending in-person, do I still need to register? Yes! We want to know who you are and make sure you get all the support you need throughout the study.

Step Two

CHECK OUT OUR WITW RESOURCE PAGE
We've created a page for easy access to all of our WITW resources. There you will find all the weekly videos, questions, and commentaries for the duration of our study together. Be sure to download the Branch app and click on the Branch Women button to access your resources on-the-go!

Step Three

JOIN OUR ONLINE COMMUNITY
We believe that community is crucial to growth. We don't want anyone doing this alone. Our Women in the Word Facebook group is a great place to start. It's a private group where we can share life, share some laughs, and share what we are learning in the Word throughout our week.

You're all set!

Join the conversation on Facebook!

We're better together.
